About Me

I love looking at relationships, between users and products, between different products (like say, a cup and saucer) and between ourselves. I feel that design can play a vital role in these relationships, producing objects which either deliberately encourage or discourage them.
Looking at emotional design and these attachments we form with products I like to produce designs that encourage interaction and fun and also enjoy bringing this playfulness into the design process. Using toys and games enables me to enhance creativity and come up with a large quantity of ideas for a single brief.
My products are simple low-tech solutions which encourage the user to touch, re-arrange, draw on or crawl through them. I worked with a range of materials and processes and love discovering new attitudes to design.
I graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University Three Dimensional Design BA in 2008.
